I have known Craig from his earlier years at Swift Fire & Security but more recently developed a close business relationship with him whilst at Bardsley Construction. His attention to detail and organisation skills are outstanding. It wasn’t long before Craig had completely documented, restructured the IT Services at Bardsley and started moving forward with the development of the businesses IT strategy. BCN Group worked closely with Craig on this journey where he implemented new infrastructure hardware, Sophos Intercept X, Office 365, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams and most recently completed the strategy to phase out Windows 7 across the Bardsley IT estate before the end-of-life deadline. Craig worked at Bardsleys as our IT Manager for 3 years with the sole responsibility of managing head office IT infrastructure, providing IT services to multiple temporary construction sites across the North West. In that time, he streamlined and documented all IT processes, allowing time to concentrate on strategic development. Craig took time to understand the issue/business requirements and would research options available, writing a comprehensive paper for the Board to approve the project, being mindful of cost but not reducing quality or expected life of asset. Craig provided a 3 year IT road map for the business ensuring that resources were in place to deal with major projects showing exceptional organisational and planning skills. A recent project Craig implemented was paper cut technology on all the printers, this reduced printing overhead costs by 40% and each year the mobile phone expenditure would decrease. I would highly recommend Craig to manage a business’s IT requirements.
